Facing the crowd
Declaring your love for me
Real, out loud
And I knew
That it was for real
No one can fake that
Kind of feel
So on the battlefield
With my head held high
Emotions started to stir
Love drew nigh
I set out to find you
And find you I did
And love drew me closer
No longer I hid
Then there was a disruptance
Resentment started to stir
And you began to see me
For the things I really were
But slowly you came back to me
Hesitant at first
And love took over again
Quenching a silent thirst

I guess I should explain..
Not necessarily if you havnt read it (just ignore the following), but I was using the Hunger Games series for a guide to write it.
It starts with Peeta confessing his love for Katniss at the 74th Hunger Games interview with Caesar Flickerman. Then when Claudius Templesmith announces that two tributes from a district can win the games, Katniss goes to find Peeta and they start with the whole false affection/ star crossed lovers thing.
Then at the end of the second book when Peeta's taken by the Capitol and is rescued in Mockingjay, he's not the same and begins to see Katniss..differently.
Then the ending when Peeta and Katniss have children and their love starts again...Confusing right?
And this is also one of my entries for the 100 Themes Challenge- .02 Love.
